Podcast call: we're looking for guests for «SIT with CEOs»

- SIT with CEOs - short for Sustainability Impact Talks. The name says it all: we sit down with CEOs of Swiss SMEs with international supply chains and talk about who they are, what their company does and how they build sustainability into their core business. An honest, curious and inspiring conversation.

A podcast supported by SECO and produced by öbu, the Swiss association for sustainable business, hosted by öbu Managing Director Lizan Kuster.

The thinking behind it

The report fulfilling Postulate 23.4062 by Councillor of States Josef Dittli, approved by the Federal Council, shows that Swiss SMEs are increasingly facing the demands of international sustainability guidelines. At the same time, today's major shifts, in how we live, are reshaping every business model. It's complex, and the requirements are moving fast. That's exactly why the companies out in front matter so much.

Across our network we see SMEs that don't just pay lip service to sustainability but have tied it to their core business, or are determined to get there. That kind of entrepreneurial work deserves to be seen. We want to hear from the people behind it, learn from their experience and give their successes the recognition they deserve.

The questions we really care about are concrete ones: Who is the person behind it? How did they actually do it? Which decisions made the difference? And what can others take away from it?

Who can apply

Every episode follows a similar thread: the CEO's personal story, what the company does, why sustainability is central, the measures they put into practice day to day, and a practical tip for other SMEs to take away.

We record episodes in German, French, Italian and English, so that every language region of Switzerland is reached.

Who we're looking for

We're focusing on six CEOs of SMEs based and operating in Switzerland, part of international supply chains and members of öbu - whether they joined years ago or only recently. And if your company doesn't tick every box yet, apply anyway. Interest is what matters most; we'll work out the rest together.

Why it's worth taking part

  • Visibility on the SECO CSR portal, the öbu website, all major podcast platforms, social media and more
  • Your story as a reference and role model for other SMEs
  • Professional production
  • A conversation that stays with people longer than a press release
