Working Group Sustainable Supply Chains: Kickoff Meeting
Wo: Bern
Social and regulatory developments in Switzerland and abroad are important drivers. International standards, the Federal Council's National Action Plan for Business and Human Rights (NAP) and a broad public expect and demand that Swiss companies comply with human rights and environmental standards along the entire value chain.
The Working Group is moderated by öbu and GCNS and offers interested companies the opportunity to discuss questions such as:
- How do companies carry out human rights risk analyses in the supply chain?
- What measures are companies taking to evaluate and develop their suppliers?
- Which standard systems and labels are used for sustainable supply chain and procurement processes?
- Further topics are taken up according to the needs of the participating companies.
After having conducted phone interviews and an online survey, we will have a Kick-off meeting on 5th February 2019. At this kickoff meeting we will get to know each other, have a look at the results of our online and phone surveys on sustainable supply chain issues and together shape the programme and the agenda of the Working Group for the year 2019.
